December 2009 - meeting 52

Our annual Christmas function was held on Sunday 13th December at the Eltham Pantry. Attending were Chris, Tanya, Brian, Judy, Tony, Paula, Vicki, Lorraine & Neil. We consumed :

* Tyrrells Hunter chardonnay 2002
* Mt Ida Heathcote shiraz 2003
* Elderston Barosa shiraz 2002
* Wynns Coonawarra John Riddich 1998
* Brown Brothers Patricia Noble Riesling 2006

The joint winners of best wine were the Villa Maria and the Elderston Shiraz.

A great day was had by all with excellent food and pleasant, air-conditioned surroundings. It's been a great year and we look forward to an equally interesting year of good wines and good company in 2010.
